Skillard's 240Z Glove Box replaces the cardboard factory glove box with an all-aluminum one.
Later, Datsun switched to a plastic glove box on the 280Z, after realizing that cardboard may not have been the best choice.
The SKillard aluminum glove box is modeled after the OEM style so that the factory heater ducting won't interfere.
This aluminum glove box is CNC cut, formed and riveted together from .050" aluminum providing a stout, yet lightweight (under 1.5 lbs), much needed glove box upgrade for the 240Z. New J Clips and screws are provided. Check out the Skillard aluminum hinge as well: 240Z Glove Box Hinge
*Dash mounting hardware may need to be removed so that the dash can be tipped up in order to slide glove box in from the rear (firewall side) of the dash.
